Captions express all spoken text and descriptions of background sounds that inform the action onstage.
R | Relaxed:
Relaxed Performances adapt or soften social ‘norms’ and sensory experiences of the theatre, making them more welcoming for neurodivergent and learning disabled audiences.
SP | Subpacs:
Subpacs are wearable vests that convert sound and bass into vibrations. 2–3 available per show via Tramway Box Office or on entry.
AD | Audio Description:
Additional commentary explains visual elements like body language and movement. Delivered integrated or via headsets from the box office.
V | Visual:
Work that is highly visual with minimal or no text.
S | Sound Based:
Work that is primarily sound-based, such as audio works, gigs, or text-based performances.
TT | Touch Tour:
A Touch Tour is available for visually impaired audiences to explore sets, costumes, or performers before the show.
