If everything has stopped.... When common sense asks us to ‘start production up again as quickly as possible’, we have to shout back, ‘Absolutely not!’ The last thing to do is repeat the exact same thing we were doing before -’
  Bruno Latour.

Embedded Creations is a process designed to explore new ways of making; supporting experimental artists in slow & rigorous creation processes across borders.

Embedded Creations invites artists to spend time in Glasgow well in advance of presentation in our international performance festival, so that when the work lands, it does so on soil that is fertile, where relationships between artists, communities and organisations are developed. As the work is made, it can truly respond to and consider the social, political and economic contexts it may be presented in, and deep & long-standing creative friendships & collaborations can be established & nurtured.
