At night we dress up and carve out a sensual side of ourselves. At night the spotlight is on the self. Our eyes are not made for the darkness but our spirits become alive, we dance and find alter-egos, immersed in the mysteries of the night.

Take Me Somewhere are excited to host Kieron Jina’s new performance research project Nocturnal Creatures, which explores queer nightlife and club culture with an aim of finding connections between artists across South Africa & Scotland.

Over Spring 2022, Kieron will meet with artists at the forefront of queer nightlife in Scotland, before undertaking a creative residency in the Summer at our new creation space Studio Somewhere. More details will be posted here closer to the time.
