Join artist, movement practitioner and sauna host Simone Lore for a guided sauna experience designed to support, reflect, and rest as artists together. As the seasons begin to change and the metaphorical harvest is brought in, lets make space to reflect and frame any intentions for this coming autumn. Bringing the steam of the sauna, natural body treatments, guided reflection and somatic work, this session offers a space for rest and gently focus self and community.
Simone is exploring ideas of the sauna as a context and space for intimate performance and creative gathering. These sessions with Take Me Somewhere are supporting Simone’s development of sauna centred performance making currently under development.
Please note: While saunas are generally safe for most healthy adults, primary risks include dehydration, drops in blood pressure and heat exhaustion. If you are unsure please seek medical advice. Please review and accept Glasgow Community Sauna’s Health and Safety Waiver as part of the booking process.
